Terms & conditions


1. To enter the competition the customer must spend a minimum of $100 at one visit between 14th October and 24th December 2009 at any Little India Restaurants in New Zealand except Queenstown. For every $100 spend the customer will get one entry to the lucky draw.

2. Customer is eligible to enter the competition only when dine in, not valid for takeaways and home deliveries.

3. The entry to the competition closes at 11pm on 24th December 2009 and the winners will be selected on the 4thJanuary 2010 at Little India, Corner New Regent & Gloucester Streets, Christchurch.

5. The prizes must be accepted as offered. There are no cash alternatives or cash substitutes for the prizes. The prizes cannot be auctioned.

6. All the prizes should be claimed and used by 30th June 2010. If a prize is not booked and taken by this date it will be declared invalid and will not be redistributed.

7. Employees of Little India group of restaurants and their families may not enter this promotion.

8. When you enter the promotion, you agree to be bound by these rules and agree that if you win, we will publish your name and city.

9. You must provide your full name, address and daytime phone number. We will use your personal details to administer this promotion, and will not publish them or provide them to anyone without your permission.

10. Unauthorised entries and photocopies are prohibited.

11. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered and won’t be returned. The winner will be the first entry drawn at random after the closing time.

12. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable. Our decision as to the winner is final.

13. Winners will be notified within 7 days of the draw date. The winner’s name can be obtained from any of the Little India restaurants , Sunday Star Times or from our website www.littleindia.co.nz

14. We reserve the right to change these rules or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion if circumstances arise beyond our control.

15. If we can’t contact the winner within one month of the draw date, the prize will be declared invalid and will not be redistributed.

16. The promotion is subject to the laws of New Zealand

 

Additional terms and conditions specific to “10 day trip to India for two” prize

a. The prize is for two people (aged 18 years or over) and includes: return Economy Class flights with departure taxes from Christchurch or Auckland international airport, nine night’s accommodation at hotels mentioned in the itinerary on a twin sharing basis including breakfast, surface travel by exclusive air-conditioned car, all transfers & sightseeing as per the itinerary, all applicable entrance charges, all taxes, driver allowances and parking charges. b. Trip prize won by a minor (under 18 years of age) will be awarded in the name of the parent or legal guardian.

c. Prize is subject to availability and excludes specified embargo periods (Christmas, New Year and Easter).

d. Prize is non-transferable and only valid for travel by the named prizewinner and a guest travelling together.

e. Flight tickets are subject to flight availability in the correct booking class of service at the time of ticketing. Flight tickets are non-changeable after issue.

f. If there is an exceptional situation where the airlines or the hotels experience a high demand for confirmed seats on your desired dates, it may be necessary to recall your seats and alternative dates offered.

g. The prize winner is responsible for their travel to and from the departure airport and any additional personal expenses.

h. The prize must be claimed and travel must be completed by 30 June 2010. If a prize is not booked and taken by this date it will be declared invalid and will not be redistributed.

i. It is the prizewinner’s responsibility to ensure that they are in possession of a valid passport and any necessary visa. No liability is accepted if the winner cannot travel because of insufficient or incorrect documentation.

j. We exclude liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to you arising from your entry or your acceptance of this prize.

k. Travel insurance, including medical cover, is not provided as part of this prize.
