Little India has been voted 'Best Ethnic Eatery' by the Tempo Readers' Choice Awards 2009.

A local favourite offering tantalising and spicy Indian cuisine, Little India has won this award for the last 3 years. Part of a family run chain, with restaurants across the country, the Hamilton Rototuna and City stores are often bustling with happy diners.

There is a good range of comforting Indian favourites, from butter chicken to vindaloo, as well as more exotic regional specialties, especially dishes from the north. Meals are cooked from fresh, using a special combination of spices created by Little India chefs.

The friendly service gets the thumbs up from regulars, with authentic quality food cooked with care and delicate spices. For those who want a touch of India at home, they also do takeaway from their two Hamilton locations.
